The Clean Energy Economy Conference provides a forum to share, learn about and discuss clean energy opportunities for Northern New York State.
Educators and students, practitioners, installers, operators, manufacturers, as well as state and local government officials, and community leaders gathered June 4-6 in Lake Placid for the 3rd annual event.
With a theme of “real projects, real credits, real technologies,” the 2014 conference featured field trips on the first day that demonstrated ”Clean Energy in Action.” Other content included Plenary Sessions on Financing, Success Stories and Renewable Heat, round-table discussions, a exhibitor expo, and more than 40 track presentations organized by topics.
Stay tuned for details for 2015, happening June 11-12 at SUNY Polytechnic in Utica.

Mike Richter presented 2014 key note address
Mike Richter, founder of Healthy Planet Partners, spoke on “Making Buildings as Efficient and High Performing as the People That Use Them.”
The idea is that we demand much from our employees and coworkers but some how ignore the inefficiencies of the facilities in which we live and work. Off the shelf technologies can improve building performance dramatically by preventing waste, lower operation and maintenance costs, increase worker productivity, and ultimately help your company reach its potential while shrinking its ecological footprint.
